Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Front, CloudConvert, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Front and CloudConvert integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Front and CloudConvert (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Front and CloudConvert

Front + CloudConvert + Google Drive: When a new event occurs in Front, such as a new message with an attachment, the attachment is uploaded to CloudConvert. CloudConvert then converts the file to a specified format (e.g., PDF) and saves the converted file to a specific folder in Google Drive.

CloudConvert + Front + Slack: When CloudConvert finishes processing a file (job finished event), a notification is sent to a specified Slack channel. The information about the job and the resulting file (originally uploaded via Front) can be included in the Slack message to track document workflow.
