Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Front, Github, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Front and Github integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Front and Github (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Front and Github

Front + Github + Slack: When a new event occurs in Front, such as a new message from a customer, the automation will create a new issue in Github. Then, a message will be sent to a Slack channel to notify the team about the new issue.

Github + Front + Jira: When a new or updated issue occurs in Github, the automation searches for a matching message in Front and adds a comment to the Jira issue referencing the Github issue. It uses the issue title to find a matching Front message.
