Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Front, Google docs, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Front and Google docs integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Front and Google docs (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Front and Google docs

Front + Google Docs + Slack: When a new event (e.g., a new conversation) occurs in Front, a new document is created in Google Docs from a predefined template. A Slack message is then sent to a specified channel to notify the team about the new documentation.

Google Docs + Front + Jira: When a new document is created in a specific Google Docs folder, a new issue is created in Jira. A reply is then sent to a specific message in Front with the link to the newly created Jira issue.
