Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Front, Google Drive, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Front and Google Drive integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Front and Google Drive (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Front and Google Drive

Front + Google Drive + Slack: When a new event occurs in Front, such as a new message, the attachments from that message are saved to a specified folder in Google Drive. A summary of the email and a link to the saved attachments are then posted to a Slack channel.

Google Drive + Front + Google Sheets: When a new file is added to a specific Google Drive folder, the flow checks if the file is related to a Front conversation using filename. The file name is added as a row in Google Sheets log, connecting Google Drive files to Front conversations for tracking.
