Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Front, Google Sheets, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Front and Google Sheets integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Front and Google Sheets (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Front and Google Sheets

Front + Google Sheets + Slack: When a new event occurs in Front, extract relevant information and add a new row to a Google Sheet to track conversations. Then, if the event includes a tag indicating urgency, send a Slack message to a designated channel to alert the team.

Google Sheets + Front + Jira: When a new row is added to a Google Sheet, this triggers the workflow. Data from this row is used to search conversations in Front. Based on the data retrieved from Front, a new Jira issue is automatically created.
