Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Front, iLovePDF, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Front and iLovePDF integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Front and iLovePDF (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Front and iLovePDF

Front + iLovePDF + Google Drive: When a new event occurs in Front (e.g., a new message with attachments), the attachments are converted to PDF using iLovePDF's Office to PDF action, and then saved to a specified folder in Google Drive.

Front + iLovePDF + Slack: When a new event occurs in Front, if the message contains a PDF attachment, iLovePDF converts the PDF to text. The extracted text is then summarized (this step requires additional AI capabilities which are outside of the available trigger/actions). Finally, a message containing at least some initial lines of the extract is sent to a specified Slack channel.
