How to connect Gender API and Acapela Cloud
Create a New Scenario to Connect Gender API and Acapela Cloud
In the workspace, click the “Create New Scenario” button.

Add the First Step
Add the first node – a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Gender API, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Gender API or Acapela Cloud will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find Gender API or Acapela Cloud, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

Select the Gender API node from the app selection panel on the right.

Click on the Gender API node to configure it. You can modify the Gender API URL and choose between DEV and PROD versions. You can also copy it for use in further automations.
Add the Acapela Cloud Node
Next, click the plus (+) icon on the Gender API node, select Acapela Cloud from the list of available apps, and choose the action you need from the list of nodes within Acapela Cloud.

Authenticate Acapela Cloud
Now, click the Acapela Cloud node and select the connection option. This can be an OAuth2 connection or an API key, which you can obtain in your Acapela Cloud settings. Authentication allows you to use Acapela Cloud through Latenode.

Next, configure the nodes by filling in the required parameters according to your logic. Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Gender API, Acapela Cloud, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Gender API and Acapela Cloud integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Gender API and Acapela Cloud (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Gender API + Acapela Cloud + Google Sheets: When a new row is added to Google Sheets, the workflow uses the Gender API to determine the gender associated with a name in the row. Based on the detected gender, Acapela Cloud generates a personalized voice message. The URL of the generated voice message is then added to the Google Sheet row.
Gender API + Acapela Cloud + Slack: When a new message is posted to a Slack channel, the workflow uses the Gender API to determine the gender associated with the user who sent the message, based on their name. Acapela Cloud then generates a voice message using a voice appropriate for the determined gender. Finally, a direct message containing the audio file is sent to the Slack user.
