Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Gender API and Google Groups integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Gender API and Google Groups (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Gender API and Google Groups

Google Sheets + Gender API + Google Groups: When a new row is added to Google Sheets, the automation uses the Gender API to predict the gender based on a name in a specified column. The automation then adds the email from that row to a Google Group.

Google Groups + Gender API + Slack: When a new user is added to a Google Group, the automation uses the Gender API to predict the gender based on their name. Finally, a message is sent to a Slack channel announcing a new user and their predicted gender.
