Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Gender API, Kintone, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Gender API and Kintone integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Gender API and Kintone (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Gender API and Kintone
Gender API + Kintone + Google Sheets: Upon receiving an email, Gender API determines the gender. This data then updates a specific record in Kintone, and the updated record's information, including the gender, is logged as a new row in Google Sheets.
Kintone + Gender API + Slack: When a new contact is added to Kintone, the automation retrieves their email address. Gender API determines the gender based on this email, and Slack sends a tailored welcome message to the user via a direct message, incorporating the gender information if needed.
