Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Gender API, Recut, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Gender API and Recut integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Gender API and Recut (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Gender API and Recut
Recut + Gender API + Google Sheets: When a new link is available in Recut, extract the speaker's gender using the Gender API, and log the video link and the speaker gender in a Google Sheet.
Recut + Gender API + Slack: Upon a new link creation in Recut, the gender of speakers is determined using the Gender API. A Slack message is then sent to a designated channel, informing the team about the new video and speaker genders.
