Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Ghost, Google tasks, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Ghost and Google tasks integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Ghost and Google tasks (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Ghost and Google tasks

Ghost + Google Tasks + Slack: When a new post is published in Ghost, a task is automatically created in Google Tasks to promote it. After the task is created, a message is sent to a designated Slack channel to notify the marketing team about the new post and the created task.

Google Tasks + Ghost + Gmail: When a task is completed in Google Tasks, a draft blog post is created in Ghost to reflect on the completed task. This draft is then sent to Gmail for review.
