Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Ghost, Grist, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Ghost and Grist integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Ghost and Grist (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Ghost and Grist

Ghost + Grist + Slack: When a new post is published on Ghost, its details are added as a new record in a Grist table. A summary of the new post is then sent to a designated Slack channel.

Grist + Ghost + Twitter: When a record is created or updated in Grist, a new post draft containing that data is created in Ghost, and a promotional message is sent to a Slack channel.
