Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Ghost, Intercom, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Ghost and Intercom integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Ghost and Intercom (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Ghost and Intercom
Ghost + Intercom + Slack: When a new post is published on Ghost, a data event is submitted to Intercom for user engagement tracking. A message is then sent to a dedicated Slack channel to notify the team.
Intercom + Ghost + Google Sheets: When a new conversation is started in Intercom, the flow finds associated Intercom contacts, extracts the contact information, and checks if the contacts are also members of the Ghost blog.
