Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Ghost, Okta, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Ghost and Okta integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Ghost and Okta (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Ghost and Okta

Ghost + Okta + Slack: When a new member is created in Ghost, a new user is automatically created in Okta. Subsequently, a welcome message is sent to the new user via Slack.

Okta + Ghost + Google Sheets: When a new event occurs in Okta (e.g., user creation), the event details are added to a Google Sheet. The workflow then updates an existing Ghost member or creates a new member based on the Okta event.
