Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Github, LiveChat, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Github and LiveChat integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Github and LiveChat (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Github and LiveChat

Github + Slack + LiveChat: When a new issue is created in Github, a message is sent to a designated Slack channel. This allows support teams to proactively reach out to users via LiveChat to offer assistance and gather more information about the issue.

LiveChat + Github + Jira: When a LiveChat conversation is tagged, a new issue is created in Github. Subsequently, this Github issue triggers the creation of a Jira ticket to track the code changes required to address the customer's problem.
