Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring GitLab, Youform, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the GitLab and Youform integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between GitLab and Youform (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect GitLab and Youform
Youform + GitLab + Slack: When a new issue is reported via Youform, an issue is created in GitLab. Slack then sends a message to a designated channel, notifying the development team about the new GitLab issue.
Youform + GitLab + Jira: When a new form is submitted on Youform, a Jira ticket is created to track the bug fix. This ticket can be linked to a specific GitLab commit if a commit hash or branch name is available in the Youform submission.
