Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Glide, Google Groups, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Glide and Google Groups integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Glide and Google Groups (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Glide and Google Groups

Glide + Google Sheets + Google Groups: When new feedback is submitted through a Glide app, the data is added to a Google Sheet for record-keeping. A summary of the feedback is then posted to a Google Group for team discussion.

Google Groups + Glide + Slack: When a new member is added to a Google Group, their information is used to create a new user in a Glide app. A welcome message is then sent to the new user via Slack.
