Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Glide, Jira, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Glide and Jira integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Glide and Jira (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Glide and Jira

Glide + Jira + Slack: When a new row is added in Glide representing a feature request, a new issue is created in Jira. Then, a message is sent to a designated Slack channel to notify the development team about the new Jira ticket.

Jira + Google Sheets + Glide: When a Jira issue is updated, the resolution time is recorded in a Google Sheet. The Glide app is then updated with the resolution status and time from the Google Sheet.
