Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Glide, LiveChat, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Glide and LiveChat integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Glide and LiveChat (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Glide and LiveChat

LiveChat + Glide + Google Sheets: When a chat is deactivated in LiveChat, the transcript details are added as a new row in Google Sheets, along with the user's Glide profile information. This enables comprehensive record-keeping and easy access to chat history linked to user data.

Glide + LiveChat + Slack: When a customer initiates a chat within a Glide app, the automation retrieves user details from Glide and sends a message to a specified Slack channel. The Slack message provides context for support teams, leading to faster and more personalized responses.
