Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Glide, Slack, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Glide and Slack integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Glide and Slack (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Glide and Slack

Glide + Google Sheets + Slack: When a new row is added in Glide, the information is added to a Google Sheet. A Slack message is then sent to a specified channel notifying the team of the new entry.

Slack + Glide + Airtable: When a new message is posted to a Slack channel, the message details are added as a new row in a Glide table. This data is simultaneously logged in Airtable for archival purposes.
