In the workspace, click the “Create New Scenario” button.

Add the first node – a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a GoCanvas, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, GoCanvas or Help Scout will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find GoCanvas or Help Scout, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

Click on the GoCanvas node to configure it. You can modify the GoCanvas URL and choose between DEV and PROD versions. You can also copy it for use in further automations.
Next, click the plus (+) icon on the GoCanvas node, select Help Scout from the list of available apps, and choose the action you need from the list of nodes within Help Scout.

Now, click the Help Scout node and select the connection option. This can be an OAuth2 connection or an API key, which you can obtain in your Help Scout settings. Authentication allows you to use Help Scout through Latenode.
Next, configure the nodes by filling in the required parameters according to your logic. Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory.

After configuring GoCanvas, Help Scout, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the GoCanvas and Help Scout integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between GoCanvas and Help Scout (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
GoCanvas + Help Scout + Slack: When a new submission is received in GoCanvas, the workflow checks if the submission indicates a failed inspection. If the inspection failed, a new ticket is created in Help Scout, and a message is sent to a designated Slack channel to alert the team.
Help Scout + GoCanvas + Google Sheets: When a new conversation is started in Help Scout, the workflow extracts data related to a GoCanvas form submission (e.g., submission ID). This ID is used to find the corresponding row in a Google Sheet. When the Help Scout conversation is closed, the time taken to resolve the issue is recorded in the Google Sheet row, tracking resolution times for GoCanvas submissions.
