Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring GoCanvas, Teamwork, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the GoCanvas and Teamwork integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between GoCanvas and Teamwork (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect GoCanvas and Teamwork
GoCanvas + Teamwork + Slack: When a new submission is received in GoCanvas, a new task is created in Teamwork. A summary of the submission and the newly created task is then sent to a Slack channel.
Teamwork + GoCanvas + Google Sheets: When a new time entry is created in Teamwork, the data from the entry and associated GoCanvas forms is logged in a Google Sheet. This allows for tracking project hours based on GoCanvas form data.
