Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Google AppSheet, Vapi, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Google AppSheet and Vapi integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google AppSheet and Vapi (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Google AppSheet and Vapi

Google AppSheet + Vapi + Twilio: When a record is updated in Google AppSheet, Vapi initiates an outbound phone call to the client. If the call is successful, Twilio sends an SMS confirming the urgent appointment.

Vapi + Google AppSheet + Slack: When a Vapi call recording transcription is available, the automation updates a record in Google AppSheet with the transcription. Then, it posts a summary of the transcription to a designated Slack channel for review.
