Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Google Chat, ClickSend, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Google Chat and ClickSend integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google Chat and ClickSend (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Google Chat and ClickSend

Google Chat + ClickSend + Google Sheets: When a new message is received in Google Chat, the content is added as a new row to a Google Sheet. Then, key information from that row is sent as an SMS message via ClickSend.

ClickSend + Google Chat + PagerDuty: If an SMS message fails to send via ClickSend, a notification is created in Google Chat. If the chat notification does not resolve the issue, an incident is triggered in PagerDuty to escalate to the on-call team.
