Save and Activate the Scenario

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Google Chat and Ghost integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google Chat and Ghost (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Google Chat and Ghost

Google Chat + Ghost + Google Sheets: Archive Google Chat discussions about blog posts into a Google Sheet for content performance analysis. Whenever a new message is posted to a specified space in Google Chat, the flow checks to see if the message contains a URL to a blog post on Ghost. If it does, the message and associated metadata are added to a Google Sheet.

Ghost + Google Chat + Twitter: Automatically share new blog post announcements from Ghost to Twitter, and notify the marketing team in Google Chat. When a new blog post is published on Ghost, the flow automatically creates a tweet on Twitter announcing the post and also sends a notification to a specified space in Google Chat alerting the marketing team.
