Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google Chat and Google Analytics (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Google Chat and Google Analytics

Google Chat + Google Analytics + Google Sheets: When a new feature announcement is posted in Google Chat, this automation runs a Google Analytics report to measure website traffic related to the feature. The results are then logged in a Google Sheet for tracking and analysis.

Google Analytics + Google Chat + Slack: When a traffic anomaly is detected based on Google Analytics data, triggered potentially by a Google Chat announcement, a notification is sent to the marketing team in a dedicated Slack channel.
