Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Google Chat and OCR Space integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google Chat and OCR Space (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Google Chat and OCR Space

Google Chat + OCR Space + Google Drive: When a new message with an attachment is posted to Google Chat, the attached image is sent to OCR Space to extract the text. The extracted text is then saved as a new text file in Google Drive.

OCR Space + Google Chat + Slack: When an image is converted to text by OCR Space (hypothetically by another flow), send the extracted text to a specified Google Chat channel and a Slack channel. This requires an external trigger for OCR Space, which is not directly available; however, one could use a webhook that triggers after conversion.
