Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Google Chat and PagerDuty integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google Chat and PagerDuty (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Google Chat and PagerDuty

Google Chat + PagerDuty + Google Calendar: When a new message is posted in Google Chat, trigger an on-call duty in PagerDuty. Then, create an event in Google Calendar to reflect the on-call schedule.

PagerDuty + Google Chat + Slack: When a PagerDuty incident is resolved, a summary message is created in a dedicated Google Chat channel, and a similar message is sent to a Slack channel.
