Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Run the scenario by clicking βRun onceβ and triggering an event to check if the Google Cloud BigQuery (REST) and Discourse integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google Cloud BigQuery (REST) and Discourse (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Google Cloud BigQuery (REST) + Slack + Discourse: When a new row is added to a BigQuery table (representing support forum question counts), check if the count exceeds a threshold. If it does, send a message to a designated Slack channel notifying the team about the spike in questions related to a specific product from the Discourse forum.
Discourse + Google Cloud BigQuery (REST) + Google Sheets: When a new topic is created in Discourse, insert the topic details and perform sentiment analysis (using BigQuery's capabilities, though not directly represented by an action) into a BigQuery table. Then, using BigQuery, periodically query the table to summarize key insights and write the summary to a Google Sheet for reporting.
