Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Google Cloud Pub\Sub and Fomo integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google Cloud Pub\Sub and Fomo (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Google Cloud Pub\Sub and Fomo
Google Cloud Pub/Sub + Fomo + Slack: When a message is published to a specified Google Cloud Pub/Sub topic, a Fomo notification is created to highlight the critical system event. Simultaneously, a Slack message is sent to the operations team to alert them of the event.
Fomo + Google Cloud Pub/Sub + PagerDuty: When a new Fomo event is created, this flow checks for rapid event triggers by counting events within a time window. If the number of events exceeds a threshold, a message is published to Google Cloud Pub/Sub to trigger an incident in PagerDuty, alerting the on-call team.
