Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google Cloud Pub\Sub and Harvest (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Google Cloud Pub\Sub and Harvest

Google Cloud Pub/Sub + Harvest + Google Sheets: When a message is received in Google Cloud Pub/Sub, extract the billable hours from the message data. Then, create a time entry in Harvest to track the hours. Finally, add a row in Google Sheets to log the time entry for reporting.

Harvest + Google Cloud Pub/Sub + Slack: When a new time entry is created in Harvest, check if the project's time exceeds a threshold. If the threshold is met, trigger a Pub/Sub message. The message then triggers a Slack notification to project managers via a public channel message.
