Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google Cloud Pub\Sub and Microsoft Power BI (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Google Cloud Pub\Sub and Microsoft Power BI

Google Cloud Pub/Sub + Google Sheets + Microsoft Power BI: While direct integration with Pub/Sub isn't available, we can use Google Sheets as an intermediary. Data is logged into a Google Sheet which then triggers a data refresh in Power BI, enabling real-time monitoring of Pub/Sub data.

Microsoft Power BI + Google Cloud Pub/Sub + Slack: While direct Pub/Sub integration isn't feasible with these tools, we can simulate anomaly detection. Power BI monitoring a dataset (fed externally, not directly from Pub/Sub) will trigger an alert to Slack when it detects an anomaly in the pre-processed data. This requires an external process to load Pub/Sub data into Power BI accessible dataset.
