After configuring Google Cloud Storage, Canny, and any additional nodes, donβt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Run the scenario by clicking βRun onceβ and triggering an event to check if the Google Cloud Storage and Canny integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google Cloud Storage and Canny (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Google Cloud Storage + Canny + Slack: When a new file is uploaded to Google Cloud Storage, a feature request is created in Canny. A notification about the new feature request, including a link to the uploaded file (if publicly accessible), is then sent to a Slack channel.
Canny + Google Cloud Storage + Google Sheets: When a new feature request is created in Canny, the automation will retrieve the associated files (if any file URLs are provided in the Canny post) from Google Cloud Storage and store the feature request details, along with the file metadata, in a Google Sheet.
