Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Google Cloud Storage, Okta, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Google Cloud Storage and Okta integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google Cloud Storage and Okta (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Google Cloud Storage and Okta

Okta + Google Cloud Storage + Slack: When a new user is added to Okta, their details are used to generate a welcome kit file which is then uploaded to Google Cloud Storage. A notification is then sent to a dedicated Slack channel informing them of their welcome kit.

Okta + Google Cloud Storage + Google Sheets: When user data is updated in Okta, the updated data is backed up to a file in Google Cloud Storage, and a log of the change is recorded in a Google Sheet for auditing.
