How to connect Google Cloud Storage and Xero
Create a New Scenario to Connect Google Cloud Storage and Xero
In the workspace, click the “Create New Scenario” button.

Add the First Step
Add the first node – a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Google Cloud Storage, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Google Cloud Storage or Xero will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find Google Cloud Storage or Xero, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

Add the Google Cloud Storage Node
Select the Google Cloud Storage node from the app selection panel on the right.

Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Google Cloud Storage and Xero integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google Cloud Storage and Xero (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Google Cloud Storage and Xero
Google Cloud Storage + Xero + Slack: When a new file is uploaded to a specific bucket in Google Cloud Storage, the automation checks if it's a financial report intended for Xero. If it is, a notification is sent to the accounting team via Slack, informing them of the new report.
Xero + Google Cloud Storage + Google Sheets: When a new sales invoice is created or updated in Xero, the automation downloads the invoice as a PDF and uploads it to a designated folder in Google Cloud Storage. Simultaneously, key details from the invoice (invoice number, date, amount) are logged into a specified Google Sheet.
