Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Google Groups, Pinecone, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Google Groups and Pinecone integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google Groups and Pinecone (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Google Groups and Pinecone

Google Groups + Pinecone + Slack: When a new message is posted to a Google Group, the message content is used to create a vector embedding in Pinecone. A notification containing the group name and message excerpt is then sent to a designated Slack channel.

Pinecone + Google Groups + Google AI: Periodically, retrieve a list of vectors ID with corresponding embeddings from Pinecone, and list google groups. Sends embeddings to Google AI to get a topic classification, update groups.
