After configuring Google Sheets, Creatomate, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Google Sheets and Creatomate integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google Sheets and Creatomate (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Google Sheets and Creatomate

Google Sheets + Creatomate + Slack: When a new row is added to a Google Sheet, Creatomate renders a video based on the data in that row. A preview of the rendered video is then sent to a Slack channel.

Google Sheets + Creatomate + Airtable: When a new row is added to a Google Sheet, Creatomate renders a video using the data from that row. The video render information is then saved to Airtable, and the Google Sheet is updated with a link to the rendered video.
