Create a New Scenario to Connect Google slides and Google Vertex AI
In the workspace, click the “Create New Scenario” button.
Add the First Step
Add the first node – a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Google slides, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Google slides or Google Vertex AI will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find Google slides or Google Vertex AI, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

Select the Google slides node from the app selection panel on the right.

Configure the Google slides
Click on the Google slides node to configure it. You can modify the Google slides URL and choose between DEV and PROD versions. You can also copy it for use in further automations.
Add the Google Vertex AI Node
Next, click the plus (+) icon on the Google slides node, select Google Vertex AI from the list of available apps, and choose the action you need from the list of nodes within Google Vertex AI.

Authenticate Google Vertex AI
Now, click the Google Vertex AI node and select the connection option. This can be an OAuth2 connection or an API key, which you can obtain in your Google Vertex AI settings. Authentication allows you to use Google Vertex AI through Latenode.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Google slides, Google Vertex AI, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Google slides and Google Vertex AI integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google slides and Google Vertex AI (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Google Slides + Google Vertex AI + Google Sheets: When a new presentation is created in Google Slides, its content is analyzed by Google Vertex AI using the Gemini model to extract key insights. These insights are then recorded in a new row in a Google Sheet for tracking and analysis.
Google Vertex AI + Google Slides + Slack: Using Google Vertex AI, content is generated based on a specific prompt. This generated content is used to create a new presentation in Google Slides. Upon successful creation, a notification is sent to a Slack channel to inform the team.
