Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Google tasks and Motion integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google tasks and Motion (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Google tasks and Motion
Google Tasks + Motion + Google Calendar: When a new or updated task is created in Google Tasks, Motion creates a corresponding task. Upon Motion scheduling that task, a Google Calendar event is created to block out time for it.
Motion + Google Tasks + Slack: When Motion schedules a task (triggering a Task Event) that originated from a Google Tasks task, send a notification to the assignee in Slack via a direct message.
