Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Harvest, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Harvest or DonationAlerts will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find Harvest or DonationAlerts, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

After configuring Harvest, DonationAlerts, and any additional nodes, donβt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Run the scenario by clicking βRun onceβ and triggering an event to check if the Harvest and DonationAlerts integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Harvest and DonationAlerts (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
DonationAlerts + Harvest + Slack: When a new donation alert is received in DonationAlerts, this automation checks if the donation goal is reached. If the goal is reached, a message is sent to a specified Slack channel to notify the team.
DonationAlerts + Harvest + Google Sheets: Whenever a new donation alert comes in from DonationAlerts, the donation information is logged in a Google Sheet. You can manually start and stop timers in Harvest to track project time, but the automation does not directly connect to Harvest time tracking. The sheets can be used for comparing donations vs. time spent.
