Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Harvest, Feedly, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Harvest and Feedly integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Harvest and Feedly (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Harvest and Feedly
Feedly + Harvest + Slack: When a new article appears in a Feedly feed, find the corresponding Harvest project based on keywords in the article title. Then, send a message to a dedicated Slack channel with the article details and a prompt to start tracking time against the project.
Feedly + Harvest + Google Sheets: When a new article is added to Feedly, this flow extracts the article title and link. It then adds a new row to a Google Sheet, which is used for time tracking related to Harvest projects.
