Depending on your setup, data should flow between Harvest and Monster API (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Harvest and Monster API
Harvest + Monster API + Slack: When a new time entry is created in Harvest, the automation fetches the estimated time for the related project from Monster API. If the actual time exceeds the estimate, a Slack message is sent to a designated channel.
Monster API + Harvest + Google Sheets: The automation fetches project estimates from Monster API and then retrieves the actual time spent on those projects from Harvest.
