Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Harvest, Pushbullet, and any additional nodes, donβt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking βRun onceβ and triggering an event to check if the Harvest and Pushbullet integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Harvest and Pushbullet (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Harvest and Pushbullet
Harvest + Pushbullet + Slack: When a new time entry is created in Harvest, the system checks if the project's budget has been exceeded. If the budget is exceeded, a notification is sent via Pushbullet, and a message is posted to a designated Slack channel to alert the team.
Google Calendar + Harvest + Pushbullet: A Google Calendar event triggers a reminder sent to the user via Pushbullet. The user logs the time spent in Harvest as a time entry. If the timer started, start a timer in Harvest and create a new time entry. If the timer ended, stop the timer.
