Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Harvest, Pushover, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Harvest and Pushover integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Harvest and Pushover (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Harvest and Pushover
Harvest + Pushover + Slack: When a Harvest timer is started, this automation checks if the time entry will exceed the budget. If it will, it sends a Pushover notification to the user's phone and posts a warning message in a dedicated Slack channel.
Pushover + Harvest + Toggl Track: When a Pushover notification is sent and remains unacknowledged for a set duration (simulating a snooze), this automation creates and starts a new Toggl Track time entry and starts a timer in Harvest to ensure the task is not forgotten.
