Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Hive, Dropbox, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Hive and Dropbox integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Hive and Dropbox (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Hive and Dropbox

Hive + Dropbox + Slack: When a project is completed in Hive, the associated project files in Dropbox are archived (moved to an archive folder) and a notification is sent to a Slack channel.

Dropbox + Hive + Google Drive: When key project documents are added to a specific folder in Dropbox, they are uploaded to a designated Hive project. A backup copy is then saved to a specified folder in Google Drive.
