Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Hive, Quickbase, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Hive and Quickbase integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Hive and Quickbase (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Hive and Quickbase

Hive + Quickbase + Slack: When a Hive project is completed (determined by an action update), the flow updates the corresponding record in Quickbase. Then, a message is sent to a specified Slack channel to notify the team of the completion.

Quickbase + Hive + Google Sheets: When a new record is created in Quickbase, a new task is generated in Hive. The details of the new Quickbase record are then added to a Google Sheet row for reporting and tracking purposes.
