Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Hive, TimeCamp, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Hive and TimeCamp integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Hive and TimeCamp (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Hive and TimeCamp

Hive + TimeCamp + Slack: When a task is marked as complete in Hive, a time entry is created in TimeCamp to log the time spent. A notification is then sent to the project channel in Slack to inform the team of the completed task.

Hive + TimeCamp + Google Calendar: When a new action is created in Hive, a corresponding task is created in TimeCamp to track time spent. Simultaneously, an event is created in Google Calendar to schedule time for the task.
