Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Hive, Twist, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Hive and Twist integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Hive and Twist (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Hive and Twist

Hive + Twist + Slack: When a Hive project's status is updated, a message is posted in a designated Twist thread and a notification is sent to a specific Slack channel.

Twist + Hive + Google Calendar: When a new thread is added to a Twist channel, a corresponding task is created in Hive. An event is then scheduled in Google Calendar as a reminder for the Hive task's deadline.
