Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring HubSpot, Motion, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the HubSpot and Motion integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between HubSpot and Motion (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect HubSpot and Motion
HubSpot + Motion + Slack: When a new high-priority contact is added to HubSpot, a task is created in Motion to follow up with the lead. A notification is then sent to the sales team in Slack to inform them of the new lead and the associated task.
Motion + HubSpot + Google Calendar: When a task is completed in Motion, the corresponding contact's record is updated in HubSpot to reflect the task completion. A follow-up call is then scheduled in Google Calendar to maintain engagement with the customer.
