Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Knack, Mailgun, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Knack and Mailgun integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Knack and Mailgun (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Knack and Mailgun
Knack + Mailgun + Slack: When a new entry is created in Knack, an email is sent via Mailgun to the email address specified in the entry. A notification is then posted to a dedicated Slack channel, informing the team about the new entry and including relevant details.
Mailgun + Knack + Google Sheets: When a new email bounce event occurs in Mailgun, the event data is added as a new record to a specified object in Knack. The Knack data is then summarized by adding it as a new row in a Google Sheet, providing a report of bounce events.
